Record of Sale, LLC (an Oregon limited liability company) operates Record of Sale on recordofsale.com. The product is software that helps two private parties assemble a Record of Sale packet. We are not a DMV, motor vehicle agency, title clerk, escrow agent, dealer, auctioneer, estate attorney, or law firm.

Checklists are compiled from published state materials and official links. Requirements change. Confirm every filing on the government site we point to. We never claim that a DMV “accepts this,” that a hash is a blockchain title, or that in-app e-sign completes a title transfer.

Physical or secure title still typically requires wet-ink signatures unless the parties qualify for that state’s private-party e-title portal. Security-paper forms such as California REG 262 cannot be generated here.

Stripe charges are the software fee only. Purchase funds move between the parties. We do not hold them.

Machinery, items of value, and estate-sale packets are as-is personal-property records unless a unit is separately titled. We do not invent DMV steps for untitled goods.
